Laine Alexandra, LCSW, is the Project Manager for the California Evidence-Based Clearinghouse for Child Welfare. She has worked at the Chadwick Center for Children and Families at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego, for over eight years. She was the Coordinator of an Office of Criminal Justice Programs (OCJP) funded collaborative grant, which teamed the San Diego Sheriff's Child Abuse Unit, Children's Services Bureau, and Chadwick Center to intervene with misdemeanor level child abuse cases. Before that, she worked as a front-line worker for the Children's Services Bureau in San Diego for eight years.
