Brief Description:(The information in this program outline is provided by the program representative and edited by the CEBC staff.)

The Independent Living Program-Orangewood (ILP) has been reviewed by the CEBC in the area of Youth Transitioning into Adulthood, but lacks the necessary research evidence to be given either a Scientific Rating or a Child Welfare Relevance Rating. ILP, developed by Orangewood Children's Foundation, provides workshops, special events, and support services to foster youth between the ages of 16-21, to help prepare them for emancipation. Each month ILP focuses on one of four key areas: Education, Career, Relationships, and Daily Living.
