Dr. Greg Aarons - “Approaches and Outcomes for Implementing Evidence-Based Practices in Child Welfare”
In this free webinar, Dr. Aarons will describe implementation approaches relevant to child welfare and mental health systems and organizations. He will describe the four phases of implementation including Exploration, Preparation, Implementation, and Sustainment (the EPIS model) and will illustrate factors likely to be important in each of the phases. Dr. Aarons will also share findings that demonstrate that the implementation and use of evidence-based practices are beneficial to both the child welfare worker and his/her clients. The CEBC will present a poster entitled: Knowing the Best of What’s Out There to Help Families in the Child Welfare System. This poster presentation is scheduled for Thursday, 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. The Conference will be held at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers, Chicago, Illinois 60611.
