Evidence-Based Practices Supporting Youth in their Transition into Adulthood (June 2016)
The presenters explore how emerging adulthood presents many barriers and challenges for young people, especially for those who are preparing to exit the foster care system. They discuss how programs that aid young peoples' transition to adulthood have a limited, but growing, evidence base and highlight the California Evidence-Base Clearinghouse (CEBC) as a critical tool for identifying, selecting, and implementing currently available effective programs.
