About the CEBC
CEBC is a critical resource for identifying, selecting, and implementing evidence-based child welfare practices that improve child safety and strengthen families. Our searchable registry of hundreds of programs eliminates the need for extensive research, providing straightforward information and practical implementation tools.
CEBC Oversight & Funding
CEBC is funded by the California Department of Social Services and managed by the Office of Child Abuse Prevention (OCAP), which has been preventing child abuse and strengthening California families since 1977.
Expert Panels
Three expert panels guide CEBC’s work:
Advisory Committee
A statewide Advisory Committee comprised of state and local child welfare leaders, supporting organizations, and nationally respected authorities on child welfare.
Scientific Panel
A national Scientific Panel comprised of ten core members who are nationally recognized as leaders in child welfare research and practice.
Implementation Science Panel
A national Implementation Science Panel comprised of seven core members who are nationally recognized as leaders in the field of Implementation Science and Child Welfare.
