To be on the CEBC, a program must clearly fit into at least one of our topic areas. Please see this page for a list of all of the topic areas. Each topic area has its own page that describes what is required for a program to fit into the topic area.

To help us determine whether your program meets the criteria for inclusion in a topic area on the CEBC website, please fill out this form. There is a Save and Continue option on the survey. If you cannot access the link, please reply to the email you received and I can send it as a Word Document.

We will review your answers and try to let you know if your program is eligible within 2 weeks of receiving your message. If you miss the deadline stated in your email, you may still submit your answers, but your program may be delayed in being loaded onto the website if you qualify.

About the CEBC

In 2006, the California Department of Social Services established the California Evidence-Based Clearinghouse for Child Welfare (CEBC). The CEBC is charged with gathering information on programs for children and families involved in the child welfare system, reviewing the research evidence for these programs, and disseminating those findings to county child welfare agencies, allied community providers, and academic institutions via the CEBC program registry website. Currently, we have 598 programs from around the country and overseas in 59 different topic areas on our website. We highlight programs whether or not they have research evidence, since we want to be useful to the overall child welfare field where many different programs are available and marketed to child-welfare related agencies and organizations. Please click on the CEBC logo in the upper left corner of the page to go to the CEBC’s homepage.
