Families referred to and assessed by child protective service (CPS) agencies
This program is not a client-specific intervention, but a full-system approach that targets the entire organization with the intention of improving client care and outcomes. The focus is to create a trauma-informed and trauma-sensitive environment in which specific trauma-focused interventions can be effectively implemented.
Caregivers of children 4 to 12 years of age in foster or kinship care placements
Prospective foster and adoptive parents and experienced foster parents; child welfare professionals who develop, support, and team with resource parents
Parents, grandparents, relative and kin providers, foster parents, or anyone serving in a parenting or caregiver role and children and youth of all ages with behavioral health, substance use disorders, and wellness concerns
Parents involved with Department of Human Services’ Child Protective Services
Children age 0-5, who have experienced a trauma, and their caregivers
Families dealing with, or at high risk for, a multitude of problems: substance use disorders (SUD); multigenerational trauma; and compromised safety (e.g., child abuse/neglect and family violence)
