Judges in the dependency court system where there may be high placement rates into foster care and disparate treatment of children of color

The combination of a traumatized child/adolescent who, when exposed to trauma reminders, has difficulty regulating their emotions and behavior and their caregiver/system of care who is not able to adequately protect the youth or help them to manage these survival in the moment states

Caregivers and their children ages 3-18 burdened by the symptoms and behaviors of unresolved impact of historical or recent traumatic events.

Parents and caregivers of youth ages 12-14

Families with children ages 0-17 at risk of involvement or currently involved with the child welfare system including birth parents, foster parents, adoptive parents, guardians, and relatives

Youth-serving professionals working with groups of youth exposed to trauma in the mental health, juvenile justice, and education fields

Adults 18 years or older who have a primary substance use disorder (co-occurring conditions are expected)

Parents/caregivers of children from birth through three years of age

Low- and middle-income 4-12 year old students, including African-Americans, Caucasians, Hispanic, and Asian populations

Adoptive parents who have recently had a child from the foster care system placed with them; the child should be between 4 and 9 years old, have been placed with the adoptive family within the last year, and have serious psycho-social difficulties.

Parents of children ages 0 to 18 with communication and behavior problems

Children ages 7-18 recently exposed to a potentially traumatic event, or having recently disclosed physical or sexual abuse, and endorsing at least one symptom of posttraumatic stress
